Check your order and withdraw online
In short: Standard products, i.e. App & Bot Hosting plans and game servers with a service number such as #11130, are provided immediately after your order. As you agreed when creating your Billing Account and again at checkout, your right of withdrawal expires as soon as provision begins, so these orders are not refundable, neither in full nor in part. VPS and custom orders (service numbers such as VPS123 or CU123) can be withdrawn within 14 days. The check below shows immediately which applies to your order, and we confirm the result by e-mail.
As a consumer, i.e. if you order predominantly for private purposes (§ 13 BGB), you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract concluded online within 14 days without giving any reason. The period begins on the day the contract is concluded. Businesses, including freelancers and sole traders ordering for their business, have no right of withdrawal. The full instructions on withdrawal are set out in § 11 of our Terms of Service.
The right of withdrawal can expire before the 14 days are over. Whether this applies depends on the type of product you ordered.
Standard products are the plans we offer in standardised form and provision automatically after you order them in the Billing Panel, in particular App & Bot Hosting plans and game server plans. Their service number consists of # followed by a number counting up from 10000 (e.g., #11130).
For standard products there is therefore no refund, neither in full nor in part (no pro-rata refund either). Renewals of an existing service continue the existing contract and do not give rise to a new right of withdrawal. Your service remains available until the end of the paid billing period.
VPS and custom solutions are set up individually and are not standard products. Their service number starts with VPS or CU (custom order), followed by a number (e.g., VPS123 or CU123). As a consumer, you can withdraw from these orders within 14 days of the contract being concluded. As services, they are subject to the rule for services: the right of withdrawal only expires once the service has been fully performed (§ 356 (4) BGB).
Example: You pay €30.00 for a 30-day billing period of a VPS and your withdrawal reaches us on day 10. You owe €10.00 (10 × €1.00) and receive €20.00 back.
If you simply no longer need your service, cancel it in the Billing Panel. It then keeps running until the end of the paid period and is not renewed. Outside a withdrawal there are no refunds (§ 12 of our Terms of Service).
Account credit is a prepayment on your customer account, not a separate purchase, so a top-up cannot be withdrawn on its own. Credit is not paid out but used for your services; a contract (and the rules above) only applies once you use the credit to order or renew a service. If you close your customer account permanently, we pay out the remaining credit from your own payments on request. Promotional and goodwill credit is never paid out (§ 6 of our Terms of Service).
You find your service number on your invoice and in the Billing Panel. You do not need to give a reason. You can also withdraw by letter or by e-mail to support@daki.cc; the model withdrawal form may help.
