Free TierFree Discord bot hosting

A small free server for one Discord bot or Node.js or Python app — good for trying Daki or running a simple bot. You keep it online by watching a short ad every few days. For projects people rely on, our App & Bot plans start at €2/month.

How it works

  1. Sign in with Discord Open free.daki.cc and log in with your Discord account. No payment details needed.
  2. Create your server Give it a name and pick Node.js or Python. It installs in about a minute. Step-by-step guide
  3. Upload your bot Upload a zip or use SFTP in the Portal, set the install and startup command and put your token in a .env file. Guides for discord.js and Python.
  4. Keep it running New servers start with 3 days of runtime. Each short ad (about 2 minutes) adds 3 days — up to 2 ads a day and 30 days in total. If you don't renew, the server is suspended and deleted 2 days later. How renewing works

Is the Free Tier right for your project?

Free servers are built for small bots that connect out to a service like Discord. Here is what that means in practice.

Works on the Free Tier

  • Discord bots with discord.js, discord.py, py-cord, nextcord or any other Node.js or Python library
  • Other bots and workers that only make outgoing connections, such as a Telegram bot using polling or a scheduled script
  • Learning, testing and small community bots

Needs a paid plan

  • Websites, APIs, dashboards and webhook receivers — free servers have no public ports
  • Java, Go, Rust, C# or other runtimes, for example a Lavalink node for a music bot
  • More than one server, or more than 512 MB RAM
  • Bots that have to stay online without you watching ads

Frequently asked questions

Is the Free Tier really free?

Yes. There is no credit card, no trial period and nothing to cancel. Free servers are paid for by ads: you watch a short one whenever you add runtime.

Does my bot stay online 24/7?

Your server runs around the clock as long as it has runtime left. Each ad adds 3 days, so on average one short ad every three days keeps a bot online. You can bank up to 30 days, so you don't need to come back daily. The Free Tier has no uptime guarantee.

What happens if I forget to renew?

When the runtime reaches zero the server is suspended. You then have 2 days to renew it. After that it is deleted permanently, including all files. With renewal reminders turned on, the Daki bot sends you a Discord DM 48 hours before suspension and 24 hours before deletion.

Which libraries and versions can I use?

Any package you can install with npm or pip, such as discord.js, discord.py, py-cord or nextcord. You choose the Node.js or Python version in the Startup tab of the Portal.

Can I host a website, API or webhook receiver?

No. Free servers have no public ports, so nothing on the internet can connect to them. Discord bots are not affected because they connect out to Discord. For anything that has to be reachable, you need a paid plan.

Can I use an ad blocker?

Your bot doesn't care, but renewing does: pause your ad blocker on the Free Tier Dashboard while you add runtime, otherwise the ad can't load and no time is added.

Can I move to a paid plan later?

Yes, whenever you like. A paid plan is a separate server ordered in the Billing Panel. Download your files as a zip or copy them over SFTP, then set the same startup command on the new server.
